Post-race activity

Sunday, 28th of September

09:00 hrs: Simultaneously trek towards the viewing point of Torres del Paine*

*The trekking towards the viewing point of the Torres del Paine is a recreational activity, which means that each individual is responsible for himself/herself. The concept is simply to walk together and enjoy the landscape as well as the company of the group. When we reach the viewing point, photos will be taken of the whole group with the backdrop of the Torres del Paine (arrival time yet to be confirmed).

To access the viewpoint, we will climb a trail. Technical equipment is not required. Sneakers and trekking shoes for running may come in handy. It is advisable to carry a small backpack for food and warm clothes (a hat and gloves included). Bringing sun glasses as well as sunblock should also be considered. Trekking poles may come in handy as well.

The activity will start at 09:00 from the Hotel Las Torres. In total, it will be 6 to 7 hours so the arrival time will most likely be at 15:00 or 16:00. Every participant is responsible for his or her own equipment and food. Should a participant’s accommodation not be close to the starting point, he/she must arrange his/her own transportation to the starting point in Hotel Las Torres.
